Drama on Ryanair aircraft: Man close sucked out the window
According to the AFP news agency, the man must have had both his head and shoulders outside the airplane. However, his fellow passengers were able to withdraw him into the flight.
– A passenger's head and shoulders were outside the window. Thankfully, he had not removed his seat belt, the passenger told Radio Thessaloniki, the TT news agency said.
It was on Friday morning that the plane took off from Thessaloniki in Greece with destination Memmingen in Germany. In the middle of the trip, what must not happen happened: a window on the flight broke for unknown reasons when the flight was above North Macedonia.
According to the Reuters news agency, Ryanair has commented on the incident that the ”window came off”, and that the flight was then forced to return to the original airport.
– The aircraft landed normally and the passengers returned to the terminal, Ryanair said in a statement according to Reuters.
Greek media reports claim that a piece of the aircraft's engine broke – and then broke the current window, writes Reuters. The data has not yet been confirmed by the airline.
